Studies indicate that, within the logical tradition of the later Islamic period, commentary- and gloss-writing were not limited to the transmission of texts but were, in some cases, accompanied by theoretical contributions to logical discussions. From this perspective, the Persian commentary on Lawāmiʻ al-Asrār may be regarded as evidence of the vitality of logical discussions in the ninth century AH and as an important source for reconstructing the debates in logic in the late Islamic period. As a critical commentator, ʻAlā’ al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī evaluated and criticized the views of logicians such as Quṭb al-Dīn al-Rāzī, Mīr Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī, and Kātibī al-Qazwīnī on a number of logical issues. Adopting a descriptive-analytical approach, the present study introduces the scholarly figure of ʻAlā’ al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, a philosopher of the ninth century AH, and examines some of his logical views in his Persian commentary on Lawāmiʻ al-Asrār. To this end, it first presents an account of his life and works on the basis of historical sources and biographical dictionaries; it then examines some of his most important logical views and critical interventions, focusing on the Persian translation and commentary on Lawāmiʻ al-Asrār fī Sharḥ Maṭāliʻ al-Anwār. اگرچه بخشی عمده&zwnj; از میراث منطقی دانشمندان مسلمان در بستر زبان عربی برشتۀ تحریر درآمده است، بازشناسی متون فارسی&zwnj;نگاشته و ترجمه&zwnj;های تخصصی برای درک دقیقتر تطور این دانش اهمیتی ویژه دارد. بررسیها نشان میدهد که در سنت منطقی متأخر دورۀ اسلامی، شرح و حاشیه&zwnj;نویسی به انتقال متون محدود نبوده و در مواردی با مشارکت نظری در مباحث منطقی همراه بوده است. از این منظر، شرح فارسی لوامع &zwnj;الاسرار را میتوان یکی از شواهد پویایی مباحث منطقی در قرن نهم هجری و منبعی مهم برای بازسازی مناقشات منطق متأخر دورۀ اسلامی دانست. علاءالدین طوسی در مقام شارحی نقاد از میان مترجمان این اثر، آراء منطقدانانی چون قطب&zwnj;الدین رازی، میرسید شریف جرجانی و کاتبی قزوینی را در مباحثی متعدد ارزیابی و نقد کرده است. پژوهش حاضر با رویکردی توصیفی&zwnj;ـ&zwnj;تحلیلی، به معرفی شخصیت علمی علاءالدین طوسی، اندیشمند قرن نهم هجری، و بررسی برخی آراء منطقی او در شرح فارسی لوامع&zwnj; الاسرار میپردازد. در این راستا، ابتدا با تکیه بر منابع تاریخی و کتب تراجم، احوال و آثار وی بیان میگردد و سپس با تمرکز بر ترجمه و شرح فارسی لوامع الأسرار فی شرح مطالع الأنوار، برخی از مهمترین آراء منطقی و مداخلات انتقادی او واکاوی میشود.
